Lydcote Burmese

My name is Katie Peacock. I have been breeding Burmese kittens for virtually my whole adult life and never tire of these beautiful, sociable, intelligent and special creatures. We recently moved to Rutland and have also added an Australian Labradoodle puppy to the menagerie, who all kittens get to meet from a very early age. My breeding line has been tested clear for hypokalaemia and other known Burmese defects and all kittens leave us fully socialised, well-handled, vaccinated, microchipped and registered with the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF).

I pride myself in the strong, confident characters of all my kittens, who are born and raised in the bosom of the family and are very much part of daily life. I believe that this gives my kittens a great start in life and sets them up perfectly to bring joy, happiness and entertainment to their new families when they leave the fold at 13 weeks (or later if holidays or other commitments get in the way of the 13 week pickup). There is nothing that I wouldn't do or lengths I wouldn't go to to ensure the health and survivability of every single kitten I raise.

We recently had a litter of eight gorgeous, healthy kittens born to Nelly (chocolate) and Teddy (blue, owned by Sandra Underwood in Lincoln) and all have now started their new lives with wonderful families (bar a cute chocolate girl, who is staying with us until her equally lovely (and responsible) owners return from holiday in mid September). So, it's now Dolly's turn (named after Dolly Parton, incidentally - RIP). I'm hoping she will call soon so that she can go to Sandra Underwood's handsome boy, Teddy, when she is ready. Reservations are already flooding in for this unborn litter.
